Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Nura ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and yc-studios ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of Nura.

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. By using Nura, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Nura is a privacy-first pill reminder and tracking application for iOS. The App allows you to:

  • -Create and manage medication and supplement routines
  • -Set customizable reminders for your routines
  • -Track your adherence history
  • -Store all data locally on your device

Nura offers both free and premium features. Premium features are available through an optional subscription.

Important:

Nura is a wellness and reminder tool, not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or recommend treatments. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nura. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Nura with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

If you are a parent or guardian setting up Nura for a minor, you are responsible for their use of the App and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Nura, you agree to:

  • -Verify medication information: Ensure the accuracy of any medication names, dosages, and schedules you enter
  • -Maintain device security: Keep your device secure and use appropriate security measures (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
  • -Use reminders appropriately: Do not rely solely on Nura for critical, life-sustaining medications. Use additional backup systems for essential medications
  • -Comply with laws: Use the App in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

You are solely responsible for all data you enter into Nura and for any actions you take based on information displayed in the App.

5. License and Restrictions

5.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Nura on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by yc-studios. The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by yc-studios and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • -Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
  • -Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • -Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
  • -Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
  • -Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices
  • -Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • -Use automated systems or bots to access the App

6. Premium Subscription

6.1 Billing and Payment

Nura Premium is available as an optional subscription. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store using Apple's in-app purchase system.

  • -Pricing: Current subscription pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store
  • -Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • -Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • -Renewal charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

6.2 Cancellation and Refunds

You may manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings on your device or through the App Store.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until your subscription expires.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot process refunds directly.

7. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to Nura. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your data.

Key Privacy Points

  • -Your data stays on your device — we use local-only storage
  • -You own your data — we have no claim to your medication information
  • -No account required — no email, password, or personal information needed
  • -Complete control — delete your data at any time from within the App

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Medical Disclaimer

Nura is not a medical device or healthcare service.

The App is intended solely as a personal wellness and reminder tool. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • -Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions
  • -Do not use Nura as a substitute for professional medical advice
  • -Consult a healthcare professional for questions about medications
  • -Seek immediate medical attention for emergencies

8.2 Service Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • -The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • -Reminders will always be delivered at the exact scheduled time
  • -The App will be compatible with all devices or iOS versions
  • -Any errors in the App will be corrected

Reminder delivery depends on iOS system notifications, device settings, battery status, and other factors outside our control. For critical medications, we strongly recommend using additional reminder systems.

8.3 Data Loss Disclaimer

Because Nura uses local-only storage, your data exists solely on your device. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to:

  • -Device failure, damage, loss, or theft
  • -iOS updates or operating system changes
  • -App deletion (intentional or accidental)
  • -User error or accidental data deletion within the App
  • -Factory reset or device restoration

Your responsibility: If you wish to preserve your data, you are responsible for enabling iCloud or iTunes backups on your device. Nura does not provide cloud backup services and cannot recover lost data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, yc-studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • -Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • -Service interruption or computer damage
  • -Personal injury or health outcomes
  • -Missed or delayed medication doses
  • -Any other damages arising from your use of the App

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless yc-studios and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Third-Party Services

11.1 Services We Use

Nura integrates with certain third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

  • -Apple App Store: App distribution and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement
  • -Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases and subscription processing
  • -Adapty: Subscription management (does not access your health data)

We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of any third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the third party.

11.2 Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Nura from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

  • -Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and yc-studios only, not with Apple. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
  • -Maintenance and Support: yc-studios, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for Nura. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
  • -Product Claims: yc-studios, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to Nura or your use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that Nura fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  • -Intellectual Property: In the event of any third-party claim that Nura infringes that party's intellectual property rights, yc-studios, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • -Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will provide at least 30 days' notice through the App before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of Nura after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should stop using the App and delete it from your device.

13. Termination

By you: You may terminate your use of Nura at any time by deleting the App from your device. Because all data is stored locally, deleting the App permanently removes all your data.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at hello@yc-studios.dev to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

14.1 Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and yc-studios agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if the claims qualify.

Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Israeli Institute of Commercial Arbitration or another mutually agreed-upon arbitration provider. The arbitration shall take place in Israel, and the language of arbitration shall be English or Hebrew.

Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@yc-studios.dev within 30 days of first downloading or using Nura. Your notice must include your name, mailing address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Israel.

14.2 Class Action Waiver

You and yc-studios agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against yc-studios. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of the arbitration agreement shall be null and void, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Israel.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Force Majeure

yc-studios shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • -iOS updates or changes to Apple's operating system
  • -Changes to Apple App Store policies or requirements
  • -Third-party service interruptions (Apple, Adapty, etc.)
  • -Natural disasters, war, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • -Government actions, laws, or regulations
  • -Internet or telecommunications failures
  • -Pandemics or public health emergencies

During such events, our obligations under these Terms will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and yc-studios regarding the use of Nura.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
